Setting the Stage: How to Set Free Ringtones for Calls

For iPhone:

Choose Your Ringtone:

Before you set a free ringtone for calls, make sure you have the desired sound downloaded to your device. You can find free ringtones on reputable websites, apps, and platforms.

Connect to iTunes:

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable and open iTunes (or Finder, if you're using macOS Catalina or later).

Adding to Library:

In iTunes, drag and drop the downloaded ringtone file into your iTunes library.

Sync Your iPhone:

Sync your iPhone with iTunes to transfer the newly added ringtone to your device.

Setting the Ringtone:

On your iPhone, follow these steps:

Go to Settings.

Scroll down and tap Sounds & Haptics.

Under the "Sounds and Vibration Patterns" section, tap Ringtone.
